      At CEO we would like to begin to develop the new generation of Leaders and Entrepreneurs. Our position is to inspire them to open their own businesses in the communities in which they reside.

      We believe if we teach them economic principles as children, it will carry them through life where they will ultimately be a part of the global market.

      Our concept addresses the whole child. The whole child includes not only principles of wealth but more importantly health.

      Our program includes nutritional education (ex: we will eat Vegan on Fridays); physical education, exposure to celebrate diversity on all levels (ethnicity, culture, religion and diversity of thought) all within our academic setting.

  • CEO Preschool is a child care center that is focused on the whole child, mentally, physically, and economically.

    Here at the school we are not babysitters or daycare providers, we are more along the lines of being trendsetters in the childcare space. Our staff focuses on bringing the best out of your child, implanting the seeds in them from the beginning of their educational experiences.

    If a preschooler can learn how to use a smartphone without anyone teaching them why can’t they learn the basic concepts of the bartering system.

    Which means: You give me something then I give you something back in return for the value of what you gave me.

      Educational Director

      I am an experienced Early Childhood Educational Director with a proven track record in managing and developing high-quality programs. My commitment to educational excellence is fortified by a Master of Science in Students with Disabilities in Childhood Education from Molloy University; holding a Professional New York State Certification in Early Childhood Education and Students with Disabilities. Bringing a passion for early childhood education, I am dedicated to fostering a positive learning atmosphere and contributing to the growth and development of young minds. Adept in team leadership, regulatory compliance, and curriculum implementation, I am committed to creating supportive, safe, and enriching environments for children while building strong relationships with parents and staff.

    • Edith Blackwood-Slater
      Lead Teacher

      My name is Edith Blackwood-Slater and I am excited to join CEO Kids Preschool as an early childhood teacher. As a passionate educator I have worked with students from PreK- 6 in urban school communities from multicultural backgrounds. I see my role as an educator to be more than simply adhering to a curriculum to convey knowledge, but also to be able to identify small details about my students’ work and behavior to help them in every way possible. To this end I will be committed to support the mission statement of the school and collaborate with parents and colleagues to help each student develop to their fullest potential.

      Lead Teacher

      I received my undergraduate Bachelor of Science Degree in Childhood Education and Interdisciplinary Studies in History from Nyack College. In addition, I recently finished my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education from Grand Canyon University. I have always had a passion for teaching and a desire to incorporate my teaching ability into my career. However, what motivated me to choose a career in education was to unearth the potential of all my students. I believe that every unique child can learn, and if there is no learning, there is no teaching.

      Lead Teacher

      Meet Mary Bedneau, our esteemed Lead Teacher at CEO Kids Preschool, entering her second year with us. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Mary is a seasoned educator dedicated to shaping young minds. Holding a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education from St. John’s University since 2000, she is a New York state certified educator. Her wealth of experience, coupled with her passion for fostering a positive learning environment, makes Mary a cornerstone in providing quality education to our young learners at CEO Kids Preschool.

      Lead Teacher

      Hello, my name is Ms. Shivanie, I recently finished my master’s degree in early childhood education and am currently working towards my NYS teaching certification. I have been working with children for almost 7 years and I cannot imagine myself doing anything else. My goal is to create a classroom environment where children feel safe and represented so they are able to flourish into their best selves.

      Hello, my name is Mrs. Michelle, and I’m from Trinidad and Tobago. I have been teaching for 20 years. I am very passionate about kids and wish to see every child succeed. I always go above and beyond for my kids and parents. Our school is very family oriented.

      Beverly Ford, a dedicated Preschool Assistant Teacher at CEO Kids Preschool, brings over 13 years of passionate commitment to working with children. Her journey began at the age of 15, contributing to summer youth programs, and has since evolved into a rewarding 6-year tenure at CEO Kids Preschool. Beverly’s wealth of experience and genuine love for nurturing young minds make her an integral part of our preschool team, fostering a positive and enriching environment for the children in her care.

      Assistant Teacher

      My name is Latisha Labossiere, and I have three years of experience in the education field. I am a proud graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Children and Youth Studies from Brooklyn College. My passion lies in fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children to express their creativity and curiosity. I firmly believe in every child’s unique potential and am committed to providing a safe space for exploration and self-expression.

      Assistant Teacher

      Nayomi Storm-Porter brings her creative spirit to her role as a first-year Assistant Teacher for Pre-K at CEO Kids Preschool. With a background in architecture and a bachelor’s degree in the field, Nayomi’s artistic flair is evident in her passion for drawing and painting. Prior to joining CEO Kids Preschool, she garnered recognition and awards from the Metropolitan for her outstanding contributions to the arts. Nayomi’s unique blend of artistic talent and dedication to early childhood education enriches the learning experience for our Pre-K students, making her a valued member of our team.
